Angela’s Lab | Lace-Ups & Butterflies
While parts of the country are still having snow (sorry!), spring is alive in Arizona where it’s gorgeous and in the 90s this week. I have packed up everything remotely wintery and am reveling in all the new looks for spring. A few of my favorite trends are butterflies (on everything from handbags and shoes to dresses and jewelry – love!), the new cropped denim and lace-up sandals. All of which I have incorporated into my look. A white button-down provides the perfect canvas to set off these styles and they dress up a basic that I already had in my closet.
Shirt, J. Crew (on sale, but limited sizes – here’s another option) // Jeans, 7 for All Mankind* (similar here) // Sandals, Tibi // Handbag, Valentino // Belt, J. Crew (similar here, only $20!) // Necklace, Tory Burch (old, similar here & here) // Sunglasses, Tom Ford
*I’m going to let you in on a little secret… I cropped these jeans myself! These were in my “donate” bag since the cut of the leg was dated, but they still fit and had the perfect leg for cropping! I am NOT a “do-it-yourselfer” but all you need is a pair of scissors — chop, then pull on the fabric for a bit of fray. Ta-da!
Check out another way to wear the Tibi lace-up sandals in Fab Finds | The Sandal of the Season.
How are you wearing these trends for spring? I’d love to hear from you!! Email me or comment below.

I love everything about this!!
So fun! I am obsessed with your bag… and shoes. Love that you cropped the jeans. I’m going to try it too.
