Trend Watch: Why We Love Platform Oxfords
We are sort of obsessed with the latest evolution in menswear shoes — the platform oxford. After all, who among us doesn’t want to look just a little bit taller with longer legs? If you answered “yes,” these chunky and tragically-hip shoes are destined to be your friend. They offer height, comfort and an edgy ’70s vibe which is so on-trend this season. They look especially fab with flared or cropped pants and midi skirts. But we’ve also seen them look haute with skinnies and minis. Thank you, Stella McCartney, for originally launching this style to “It-Shoe” status.
