Vibrant Hues Ruled the Oscars 2019 Red Carpet

The Oscars is the Super Bowl of the awards season for celebrities and their stylists, and this year was no exception! From Lady Gaga and her $128 million necklace once worn by the queen of Hollywood glamour herself, Audrey Hepburn, to Crazy Rich Asians’ star Gemma Chan in right-off-the-runway Valentino, the night was a fashion showstopper. Here are the stars who took home our award for “Best Dressed of the Night.”

Drop-dead gorgeous in one of her all-time-best looks ever, Jennifer Lopez slayed the night in a mirrored column gown by Tom Ford.
Equal parts modern-day boss lady and ethereal princess, Michelle Yeoh stunned in Elie Saab.
Pink dominated the night, and Gemma Chan wore a beautiful, smocked Valentino that was straight off the runway.
Another pretty-in-pink lady, singer Kacey Musgraves looked amazing in feminine pink tulle by Giambattista Valli. Her sleek updo was the perfect compliment to the flouncy gown.
Helen Mirren is killin’ it in gorgeous, bright pink tulle by Schiaparelli Haute Couture. This is her color!
Roma star, Marina de Tariva embodies glamour in this strapless J Mendel and statement earrings. Pretty tulle and layers of ruffles (another trend of the night!) made powerful in red.
The bodycon fit! The ruffles! The red! We love it all. Singer Jennifer Hudson wowed in Elie Saab.
Star of Crazy Rich Asians, Constance Wu, channels a modern-day Belle from Beauty and the Beast in sunshine-yellow Versace.
Lady Gaga deserves a nod for the most impressive jewelry. This 128-carat Tiffany & Co. yellow diamond is worth $30 million! This is only third time in history that it’s been seen publicly, including once on the neck of Audrey Hepburn.
