Trends with Staying Power for Spring 2017
New York Fashion Week wrapped up yesterday and we’ve been closely watching what’s haute for Spring 2017. Wondering what styles will still be trending next spring vs. which items you may want to consider clearing out of your closet? Well, good news, there are several trends that aren’t going anywhere, including the fashionista’s must-have of the moment — the off-the-shoulder look, plus strategically-placed cutouts, ruffles galore, and layers of sheer lace and fabrics. We have a peek at a few of the best from the NY shows.
Off-the-Shoulder (aka Cold-Shoulder) continues to be important next spring…

And designers are still haute for Cutouts — in the front, side and back.

Ruffles continue to be in vogue, especially in the form of tiered skirts…

And Sheer fabrics dominated the runway in a wide range of colors and styles, from daytime to evening.
