Like the rest of the fashion-loving free world, I am obsessed with the off-the-shoulder (aka cold-shoulder) top this season. This one I found by Rebecca Taylor is my favorite right now for several reasons: 1. the shoulder can be worn up or down, 2. it doesn't gap in the front when I bend over, 3. it's flowy and doesn't wrinkle like the cotton ones (plus I hate ironing), 4. I love the bow detail in the back, and 5. it's the most gorgeous, vivid shade of pink which is universally flattering and makes for the prettiest pictures. Mother's Day is one of my favorite holidays since I take time out to celebrate with my family how blessed I am to be a mom! And, how lucky I am to have a wonderful mom and mother-in-law! Culottes are one of the biggest trends this season, and when I saw this style it was love at first sight. The cutout design makes them dressier and special, while the white denim keeps them more casual and down to earth. Just remember with the wide cropped leg, chunky shoes are a must to maintain balance and proportion. No stilettos here!
