This is my new go-to dress. It works for meetings, luncheons, date night, speaking engagements, events, weddings, church... the list goes on. It's tailored, flattering and the fabric is just the right weight with a little give. You can style it with flats for a more casual look or heels for a dressier one. There's nothing like a pop of color to give you a sunny outlook and sometimes we just need that extra pick-me-up, right? Color has a huge influence on our mood and how we're perceived by others too. Labor Day weekend is the unofficial end of summer. The sun is setting on carefree days, spontaneous trips to the beach, lazy days at the pool and time to do whatever we choose. Most kids have returned to school and it's time to get back to our daily routine. And, so our wardrobe begins to transition to fall... I'm reluctant to completely let go of summer yet (plus it's still 100+ degrees here in Phoenix!), so I paired my silky fringe kimono (doubles as a swim cover-up and it's a steal on sale right now!) with jeans and booties.
