For me, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale means back-to-school shopping time! My mom and I have fun every year going to the store and trying on all the new clothes for fall, then picking out my favorites for the start of school. This year I start 5th grade and that's Middle School at my school, so we have a dress code we need to follow. Shorts and skirts have to be a certain length and tops have to have a collar if they don't have a sleeve or a sleeve if there's no collar. With great deals on brand-new fall styles, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the best time (and perfect excuse!) to do your kids' back-to-school shopping. If you don't feel like battling the crowds, online shopping in your cozies is the way to go and just return what doesn't fit. Especially when we're shopping for our kids -- there's so much more flexibility with the fit when it comes to clothing. What did we do before online shopping??!! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Every July. And, a back-to-school / fall shopping tradition for me as far back as I can remember. Having grown up in Seattle, Nordstrom was always THE place to shop. My daughter and I are carrying on the tradition and every year we enjoy the pre-sale event where I add new fall must-haves to my closet and she chooses (with guidance!) her back-to-school wardrobe.
