Angela’s Lab | Bold in Blue
Vivid jewel-toned hues have a way of bringing out the best in your hair, making your skin glow and putting an extra spring in your step. Whether you wear a bright all over or simply as a pop-of-color accessory against your favorite black dress, brights always make a statement. Plus, vibrant colors make me feel happier than dull colors and, let’s face it, they look better on your social media feed. #truth I have always had a thing for cobalt blue and remember a shirt in this same color I had in my 20s that I wore over and over again. This bold, easy-to-wear dress by Rebecca Taylor from Saks is sure to become one of my favorites.
Dress, Rebecca Taylor (on sale!) // Shoes, Stuart Weitzman (similar here & here – both on sale!) // Handbag, Chanel // Necklace, Iosselliani // Pendant, Alexis Bittar (similar here)
I wore this dress for my TV segments on Arizona Midday this week — cobalt blue is the perfect on-air color! Notice that I switched from heels to gladiator sandals between the segments (you cannot do gladiator sandals justice on a table!) and it completely changed the look of the outfit, but it totally works. One more reason to love this dress.
