Angela’s Lab | Who Rocked the Red Carpet at the Oscars

Nothing compares to the out-and-out glamour of the Oscars — it is truly Hollywood’s most-anticipated, star-studded, see-and-be-seen celebrity event of the year. The stars pull out all the stops to look ultra-glam and land on the best-dressed list. Blush, nude and white were the shades of color (or lack thereof) that reigned supreme last night, not unlike last year, along with sparkly metallics and heavily embellished gowns worthy of the movie star set. Statement necklaces were a popular accessory, although I would have preferred a little more from the diamond family. Who were our favs?? Here we go!

By the way, this Wednesday, don’t miss me dishing with Destry Jetton about Oscars fashion and inspired looks on Arizona Midday! Catch the segment on Channel 12 if you’re in town, or watch for the video and our “shop the looks” story featuring dresses from Neiman Marcus to follow.

I absolutely loved the color of Emma Stone’s dress. The unusual color really made her stand out! I also thought Anna Kendrick looked elegant and like a “movie star” should look at the Oscars. For me, it was all about the brighter colors – maybe I am just excited for spring!
