Christmas kicked off early at the Keller home this year, as we spent last weekend decorating and setting up Christmas trees for a collaboration and photo shoot with Paradise Valley Lifestyle magazine. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am not a DIYer or a cook or a domestic goddess by any stretch of the imagination. Hence the reason I don't generally talk about recipes and that sort of thing on Mom Style Lab. However, when compelled, I can sew, cook and craft decently well. It's that time of year again -- Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The usual happenings are going on, from events such as Saks Fifth Avenue's Key to the Cure, pink products being sold with a portion of proceeds going to fight the cause, buildings lit up pink, and the list goes on. Breast cancer (and cancer in general) is an epidemic. Last year at this time, I wrote about my own mom and her fight with this horrible disease.
