For the Love of Summer Prints
There’s no shortage of statement prints to choose from this summer and it’s really about selecting a look that speaks to your personal style. I gravitate to modern abstract florals (this top!) over realistic flower prints, which to me look old-fashioned. And, the cutouts on the shoulders give the look a sexy, yet totally appropriate at any age, vibe. I kept the focus on the top and paired it with these must-have, oh-so-comfy, super affordable black shorts that can be dressed up with wedges or down with sneakers.
Ethnic patterns have also been in the spotlight for a few seasons now, like this darling dress Christina is wearing. The crochet detail on the top and asymmetrical hemline give the piece a boho, ’70s flair — truly the underlying theme of the season. Her sweet floral headpiece and pop of pink sandals complete the look.
