Our 2020 Oscars’ Red Carpet Favorites

The crown jewel of awards season, celebrities pull out all the stops for the annual Academy Awards (aka the Oscars) red carpet. The fashion set watches with breathless anticipation to see who will be crowned best-dressed of the night. Of course, everyone has their own opinion, but here at Mom Style Lab we hands-down agree that Renee Zellweger not only took home the statue for Best Actress, but she also won the red carpet. Embodying the glamour of Old Hollywood, she was perfection in her slinky, perfectly-tailored, elegant Armani Prive gown. Love! That said, we had a number of other favorites that were flat-out stunning as well… keep scrolling for our picks of the night!

The Oscars also sets the tone and trends for spring evening attire. This year, we were treated to loads of intricate feminine details and embellishments (Sandra Oh! Florence Pugh!), shimmer & shine (Renee! Scarlett! Brie Larson!), capes (Natalie Portman! Brie again!), and pink was a standout shade (Regina King!). We love that stars embraced more elegant silhouettes this year, opting not to bare as much skin as in some years past. Even plunging necklines were less showy and more classy. Thumbs up!
