Who among us doesn’t love jewelry?? Jewelry is the icing on the outfit, so to speak, and every woman has her go-to pieces for daily wear, plus those special baubles that immediately take their look to “wow.” On Channel 12’s Arizona Midday yesterday, Angela Keller dished on the latest trends in jewelry. Looks that are trending now include:
Statement. Whether it’s a statement necklace (or a couple layered together), bracelet, earrings or a fantastic ring, nothing elevates or transforms a basic ensemble faster than a statement piece.
Layering. We love layering necklaces, bracelets and even rings! Choose carefully to make sure the pieces (colors, metals, media, style) compliment each other and then stack away. However, if you’re wearing a big stack of bracelets, save the layered necklace look for another time, and vice versa.
Ethic. Ethnic looks and prints are big this season in clothing and the look is translating to jewelry. Invest in some wooden bangles and aged silver paired with natural stones in earthy tones. These never really go out of style, especially for spring and summer.
Mixed Media. A mix of Lucite, fabric, crystals and gemstones is a glamorous, but sassy look, that goes with your “drop-off denim and tee” or your favorite sheath dress. We’re seeing (and loving!) this style in statement necklaces and bracelets.
SPECIAL: Through today (April 2nd), visit Amy inc. boutique in Scottsdale or Mae & Marie boutique at Biltmore Fashion Park and say you saw this segment on Arizona Midday to receive 15% off your entire purchase!
