Angela’s Lab | The New Fashion Line You Need to Know
Being in the fashion world, I get invited to a lot of events. Being a mom, I can’t go to all of them as my sweet girl and her social/activity schedule keeps me on the run as well. That said, it’s so important to strike a happy balance between my work demands and mom life. Now, when my friend Amy Yount — owner of Amy, inc boutique in Scottsdale — throws a party to introduce the new line Cinq à Sept (that I’m in love with, by the way) to her clients, I know it’s going to be a can’t-miss affair with all the details exquisitely executed. From the stunning venue and floral displays to the pretty favors and intimate fashion show, the soirée was simply lovely. Brava, Amy!

So, what did I wear? Well, I happen to be obsessed with lace. My closet will attest to the fact. When I spotted this romantic blouse with lace insets, I knew it would pair perfectly with any of my black skirts or pants, making this statement piece super versatile. That’s the great thing about separates, it’s so easy to mix and match and change up your look. Especially when you need to take your outfit from day to night. I’m wearing the blouse and skirt with tights and over-the-knee boots during the day, then changing to heels and a statement necklace for evening. Easy breezy.

Here are a few of my favorite Cinq à Sept pieces shown in the fashion show on models from FORD/Robert Black.
The finale. The collection and the majority of the looks shown are available at Amy, inc in Scottsdale. Cinq à Sept is also available online at Saks Fifth Avenue.
