Fab Finds | The 2019 Color of the Year is Gorgeous
As 2019 dawned, last year’s color of the year (Ultra Violet) faded into the sunset… to make way for the happy, vibrant shade of Living Coral! Pantone, the official color source, chooses the hue, which sets the tone and mood for fashion, interior and graphic design.
A huge departure from last year’s color, Living Coral is an “animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge,” according to the experts.
Well, we love it! It embodies warmth and positivity, and is oh-so-joyful. One of the easiest ways to add this optimistic shade to your look now is via your manicure. The longest-lasting nail polish we’ve found is by Chanel and thankfully they have a beautiful shade of coral in their collection. It’s just what the doctor ordered to “spark joy” this winter, as we patiently await the arrival of spring and all of its cheerful fashion.
