Angela’s Lab | Stars Making a Statement in Cannes

The Cannes Film Festival is one of those red carpet moments worth following. And, after a rather disappointing array of looks at the normally oh-so-fashionable Met Gala, I am in my happy place seeing the celebrity-worthy styles on display in the south of France this week. My best-dressed picks thus far are primarily the ladies that chose vibrant colors (they are literally glowing), plus one supermodel in white and one star in a black mini — always très chic.

A regular fixture on best-dressed lists, Lupita Nyong’o does it again. She is stunning in Gucci and her up-do perfect as it doesn’t compete with the embellishments on the gown. The “twirlability” of this dress… I have no words.
