At Work | Color of the Year Radiates
All hail, the official 2014 Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid!! Every year Pantone determines the next color that we will see everywhere in designer collections, and MSL predicts that “love is in the air” with this one. Orchid is a vibrant color that complements a wide range of skin tones and adds a glow to our skin, plus uplifts our mood. It pairs with a variety of colors — from white, navy and black to silver, green and other tones of purple. In conservative work environments orchid works best as a solid or an accent, and in creative workplaces you can go more dramatic with orchid in prints. With much of the U.S. knee-deep in snow and freezing cold weather, it’s hard to believe that in just a few short months our dreams of spring, blooming flowers and sunshine will be a reality once again. So indulge in your fantasies of color with a little (or a lot of) radiant orchid and make your office a more fashion-forward and brighter place!
