On Our List for Fall + Sip, Shop & Style at Saks Highlights

The Fall 2018 collections are an impressive mix of classics like plaid, animal prints, and tailored suiting — indicative of our strong women’s empowerment movement that’s happening right now. However, these classics have undergone a modern transformation fueled by a love of ’80s maximalism and designers have added a luxe twist to everything from ready-to-wear to accessories. As a result, we’re seeing an abundance of faux fur, metallics (especially silver), high gloss (aka patent leather), ruffles, embellishments, and designer logos. To sum up the mood, it’s all about balancing the strong and powerful with the feminine and fanciful.

How pretty are these macaroons from Ruze Cakehouse in Scottsdale?! And so delicious!!
