One of the great things about kids is their genuine excitement and over-the-top enthusiasm for holidays and celebrations. Of course, this month it’s Valentine’s Day. Our daughter has been working on her valentines for her Kindergarten class, teachers and family for a couple of weeks now and we’re almost done. I love watching her assemble homemade valentines and see where her imagination takes her during the design process. At five-years old, Christina is at the age where she definitely has her own ideas about what she wants to create and only needs a little help cutting out the construction paper hearts. I really treasure these times… I know they will be gone all too soon. Happy Heart Day! Next up, St. Patrick’s Day.
