What We Want for Mother’s Day (Besides World Peace)

We read a quote recently by Anne Lamott, author of Operating Instructions: A Journal of My Son’s First Year, that really resonated with us and we want to share it with you — “…there really are places in the heart, you don’t even know exist until you love a child.” This is so true. We would do anything for our kids and we never understood how much our moms did for us (and put up with!) until we had our own children. Which is why Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 10) is one of the biggest gifting holidays of the year. Here’s what we have our eye on for Mother’s Day presents for ourselves and our moms.

1 | Custom Jewelry.

3 | Designer Book Stack. We are obsessed with this parchment-bound designer book stack from Clayton Gray Home and it needs to be decorating our closet or book shelf. Now. There are also other fashionable themes to choose from such as “Manhattan to Paris” and stacks with pictures of handbags.
